The Teen Maker program is a series of programs geared specifically for teens to use their creative skills to make unique projects. “The Teen Maker program is a great way for tweens and teens to try out various do-it-yourself projects to make something useful out of things you can easily find around the house or in a store. We’ll be doing a new project every session!” said Andrea Klecki, the teen librarian at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library.

The project for this month is: Mason Jar-O-Lanterns. Teens and tweens will learn how to make spooky lanterns with mason jars, tiny lights, and various craft materials just in time for Halloween. The program will happen on Wednesday, October 19 at 4 p.m. at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library. Teens/tweens age 12 and up are welcome to attend. All materials will be provided.

The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For further information call 1-866-57-ASKUS or look on the library website at www.solanolibrary.com.
