Review: Bull Mountain by Brian Panowich

By Kevin

If you like multi-generational family sagas, that take place in rural Georgia, check out Bull Mountain by Brian Panowich. This novel begins in 1949 with the sudden murder of Rye Burroughs by his own brother. Fast forward to 2012 and meth labs hidden in the valleys and gun-running from Florida with plot twists galore, then you'll have a good idea of the story described in Bull Mountain, Panowich's first novel. This is a violent story, well-written and engaging. Give it a try; I don't think you'll be disappointed.
