Teen DIY is a series of programs geared specifically for teens to use their creative skills to make unique projects. “The Teen DIY program is a great way for tweens and teens to try out various do-it-yourself projects to make something useful out of things that can easily be found around the house or in a store. We’ll be doing a new project every session!” said Andrea Klecki, the teen librarian at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library.
The project for this month is: duct tape flower pens. Teens and tweens can choose from a variety of patterns and colors of duct tape to customize their projects. The program will happen on Wednesday, March 8 at 4 p.m. at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library. Teens/tweens age 12 and up are welcome to attend. All materials will be provided.
The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For further information call 1-866-57-ASKUS or look on the library website at www.solanolibrary.com.
