Wild Birds of Prey from the UC Davis Raptor Center Program at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library

Representatives from the UC Davis California Raptor Center will be at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library as a part of the library’s celebration of “Promises Made, Promises Kept”, honoring the impact of funding from Measure B in 1998 and Measure L in 2012 on Solano County Library branches. Children and their families will be able to meet various birds of prey (a.k.a. “raptors”) that have been rescued from the wild and learn plenty of interesting facts about these winged predators.  This program will happen on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This program is provided for free to the public, thanks to the Vacaville Friends of the Library. The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For further information about this program or “Promises Made, Promises Kept” call 1-866-57-ASKUS or look on the library website at www.solanolibrary.com.
