Computer Basics Class at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library

By Michelle Franzen

The Vacaville Cultural Center Library will launch its first in a new series of monthly computer classes on Wednesday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Computer Basics—held on the last Wednesday of each month—will feature a lesson on one aspect of using a personal computer such as word processing, Internet, or email.

This month’s program is: Getting Started. Practice using the keyboard, mouse and other components of your computer correctly. Learn the meaning of different icons and symbols on your desktop. Get familiar with everyday computer functions in a supportive environment.

This program is provided for free to the public. No appointments are necessary; drop-ins are welcome. The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For further information call 1-866-57-ASKUS or look on the library website at
