Matrix Parent Network Workshops to be held at

John F. Kennedy Library

Parents of children with special needs are invited to sign up for workshops conducted by the Matrix Parent Network. Free meetings are held at the John F. Kennedy Library at 505 Santa Clara St. in Vallejo. Registration through Matrix is required and topics vary.

The mission of Matrix Parent Network is to empower families of children with special needs to successfully understand and access the systems that serve them.

The first library workshop of 2016 will be presented by Independent Living Resources of Solano and Contra Costa County on Monday, January 25th at 5:00. Participants will receive information on preparing their students for adult life with skills such as money management, using public transportation, housing agreements and social skills.

Space is limited. To register for this free workshop or other Matrix presentations, visit or call 1-800-578-2592.
