Sustainable Gardening Workshop at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library

08/27/2018
By Andrea Klecki

Representatives from Sustainable Solano—an organization dedicated towards helping local communities become more ecologically sustainable—will be presenting a workshop on sustainable gardening methods. Sustainable landscaper Jeff Barton will present information about sustainable landscaping: beautiful, productive, life-supporting ecosystems featuring trees and a variety of perennials fed by "secondary" water (greywater and rainwater). Information about the Vacaville Sustainable Backyard Program will also be shared. The program will be on Tuesday, Sept. 4 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The library is located at 1020 Ulatis Drive. For further information call 1-866-57-ASKUS or look on the library website at www.solanolibrary.com. To learn more about Sustainable Solano, visit their website at www.sustainablesolano.org.
