The speed in which customers are notified that the book, movie or music they have requested is ready for pick-up or that they had material overdue has been improved. Beginning in December 2005 the Library started sending email notices and telephone notification was launched in September 2006. The Library now uses telephone, e-mail and postal notices to communicate with customers.
