  • What are the branch hours?

Solano County Library branches are open to the public by APPOINTMENT ONLY:

Monday-Thursday: 9am-6pm

Friday: 9am-5pm

Saturday: 9am-5pm (Fairfield Civic Center Library, John F. Kennedy Library, and Vacaville Public Library- Cultural Center only).

 

For holds pickup or library visits, schedule here to make an appointment. You may also call 1-866-572-7587 or text "book" to 707-604-9700 during business hours to schedule an appointment. 

 

One hour is allowed per visit. Patrons will be permitted one hour of computer use due to limited resources.

 

Curbside service will continue to be provided for those who prefer picking up their materials outside of the library. 

 

Solano County Law Library  is by APPOINTMENT ONLY 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., call 707-421-6520 to schedule an appointment. 

 

  • What additional measures is the Library taking to ensure the safety of its patrons and staff?
Face coverings are required for staff and public.  
 
Plexiglas sneeze guards have been installed at all service desks.
 
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available at service desks. 
 
Returned materials are quarantined for 96 hours before they are checked in and shelved.
 
 
  • Can I return library materials?

Yes! Book drops are open at all branches. 

 

  • Can I donate materials to the library?

At this time, we are not accepting library donations.
