What if every kid read the same book at the same time?

Solano Kids Read

Solano Kids Read is a free program that encourages children to read for fun and to experience books in new ways.

This year’s selection is Janet Tashjian's novel, My Life as a Book. Get to know Derek, a mischievious "reluctant reader," as he struggles through a summer reading assignment, uncovers a mystery about a drowned girl and discovers that stories are all around us.

Janet Tashjian will visit Solano County Library locations December 9-11. Class reservations begin now. Space is limited. Check out the full schedule of events.
