Review of the classic series Buffy The Vampire Slayer
by Darriya
The classic supernatural horror series Buffy the Vampire Slayer stands as the inspiration and reference for many of today's popular vampire and upernatural tv shows, as well as, books and movies. This television series is a classic that is not to be missed. This is a story where no character goes unnoticed and minor characters may have an effect on an episode that is greater than that of the main character.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer has an intricate, constantly changing plot that never ceases to intrigue and entertain its viewers. Buffy, a sophomore in high school, was expelled from her last school for burning down the gym when it was full of vampires and must move to a new town named Sunnydale. Buffy is the only vampire-slayer in the entire world, meaning her destiny is to slay vampires and other supernatural forces of evil. She can only tell the people she trusts the most about her destiny, so she was forced to say she burned down the gym because of asbestos.
On Buffy's first day at Sunnydale High, she is greeted by Cordelia, a mean, popular girl. As Cordelia shows Buffy around her new school, Buffy is unhappy about the way Cordelia treats her peers, especially a girl named Willow. Willow and her best friend Xander become Buffy's best friends and when she has to save them from supernatural harm, she tells them about her identity as a slayer. With the support of her friends and family, Buffy triumphs over many powerful villains and saves many lives.
If you are a fan of the old Dracula movies, the Twilight Saga, the highly acclaimed Supernatural series, or someone who enjoys a good horror drama I strongly recommend this to you.
