Benji finally became comfortable in his skin, only to become a monster. Nick has never
been comfortable in his own skin, but helps everyone else to be. When Benji runs from those
who turned him into a monster, Nick and his team help make him comfortable with who he is,
monster or not. As Nick’s secrets get revealed, his team never turns from him. This story is all
about support, friendship, and finding connections in people who needed it. I love this book with
my whole being, and my personal copy is annotated cover to cover. The perspective switches
from Benji to Nick, and each piece of the puzzle falls into place perfectly timed. The plot drags
you in and keeps you there until it (unfortunately) ends. If you enjoy apocalypses, end of the
world, LGBT+ relationships, and vague graphic scenes, this book is for you.
