Solano Kids Bookmark Challenge
In honor of National Reading Month in March, Solano County Library will be printing and distributing bookmarks created by kids from Solano County!
Who Can Participate:
Any child in Solano County in preschool – sixth grade.
How it works:
- Visit your local Solano County Library and pick-up a Bookmark Challenge form or download the form and print it at home.
- Create an original bookmark inspired by reading, books, or libraries. Artwork must be done on the Bookmark Challenge form.
- Submit your form to your local Solano County Library.
- One winning entry per grade category will be chosen to be printed.
- Entries are due February 13th, 2026
Categories
There are four categories based on grade level

Preschool/Kindergarten

Frist Grade/Second Grade

Third Grade/Fourth Grade
- Fifth Grade/Sixth Grade
Winners
One winner from each category will be selected in March during National Reading Month. Winning designs will be printed and shared at all Solano County Library branches. Each winner will receive a bundle of their bookmarks to share with family and friends.
Only ONE entry per person will be accepted.
